Questions?

What is your rate?

$150 for a 50 minute session. I do offer sliding scale for those in need, which we can discuss during the initial phone call.

Do you take insurance?

At the moment, I do not take insurance. However, this is a work in progress and could change in the future.

Do you offer in-person and virtual sessions?

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. In-person sessions are located at the Southern California Counseling Center in mid-city Los Angeles. Virtual sessions are available for any resident of California.

How will I know if it’s going to be a good fit?

I offer a free phone consult to connect and better understand how I can support you. During the therapeutic process, I frequently check in to make sure we are aligned in our intentions. It is always your choice to continue or discontinue therapy.

What can I expect from our first session?

We will talk about what you’d like to work on and how we might go about relieving any acute stressors that you may have. Mostly we will talk and get to know more about how I can support you.

How many sessions will we have?

This is different for each person and situation. By law, you are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the expected cost of therapy. For further information please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises. It is always your choice to discontinue services at any time.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes! I take confidentiality very seriously and follow all ethical guidelines and laws of California. However, there are limits to confidentiality which we will discuss in the first session.

What is your policy on Social Media?

To maintain privacy for all my Clients I do not accept social media requests.

What is an AMFT?

An AMFT is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am currently in the process of accumulating hours towards licensure and supervised by Matthew Shima, LMFT#113018 at the Southern California Counseling Center.
